For stroker guys
Discussion
Anyone considering a stroker and looking at the 6.2L and 6.0L blocks might want to have a look here www.gmgoodwrench.com/GMPerformanceParts/EngineShowcase/index.jsp?engId=LSX&engine=LSX&sku=19166454&engCat=ls
The block was shown at sema. Due out Q1-07 it will support over 500 cubes in the tall desk model, but for us stock parts blokes it will still support up to 482 cubes from memory.
Now you can have a 454 LSx engine.
Only issue is that its iron so will weigh more. But then so do the 408 iron strokers.

First time I have heard of 5.7L being described like that!

Go to SEMA next year - you will see that in the serious league, 5.7 is pretty much entry level stuff. For serious players, 500 cid seems pretty much the start, and you can have as much more as you want to pay for. I have seen a tractor puller vehicle fitted with 5 BBCs each of 520cid with B&M blowers and nitrous, each making 2000+ hp. Might be a bit of a handful on the A30, but fun!
Just come back from Sema, some nice stuff there, got some photos of GTO's i could post if i knew how to??!!
