Over the year many artist have written about cars in there songs. Though it might be a good Idea if we can each think of five lines from songs and let the rest guess the Name and Artist So, I'm about to show my age here but see if you can name the five song and original artist form these lines....

1) And with the radio blasting, Goes cruising just as fast as she can now

2) It's a girl, my lord, in a flatbed Ford slowin down to take a look at me

3) Told my girl I'll have to forget her Rather buy me a new carburetor

4) Windshield wiper splishin' Splashin', callin' out her name

5) And it's half past four and I'm shifting gear

I'm sure there are many many more. Lets see if we can beat the BO55 Dyno thread

1 - Beach Boys, Fun Fun Fun

4 - The Sweet, Gotta See Jane

I always thought the Radar Love lyric was "It's a half-assed Ford and I'm shifting gear"

And I thought the "Take it Easy" lyric was "Its a girl, my lord, in a flatbed four" as in horizontal opposed

You gotta have the word car in the title to be serious (or at least the name of a car )

1. "Jump in my car, I wanna take you home"
2. "Here in my car, I feel safest of all"
3. "Little red Corvette..."
4. "We count only blue cars.."
and last but not least, one from the lads who came from Abingdon (where I live)
5. "They all drive killer cars"

Ok, now it's getting really complex....
1. "My Best Friend's Girl"
2. "Let the Good Times Roll"
3. "Let's Go!"
4. "Shake It Up"
5. "Drive"
6. "Tonight She Comes"

I think I'm still jet lagged & in need of a Rum or seven!
