Pentagon in Rochdale

Hi all, just a quick note to let anybody who is in the Manchester area that Pentagon in Rochdale will look after you Monaro.
All I wanted was a service, a recall for the seat spring, the parking sensors and the central locking wanted fixing under warranty. I rang all the local Vauxhall dealers and they all refused to touch my monaro, got told to go to Derby.
Eventually I talked to Ian (service manager) at Rochdale Pentagon and he was great, he went away and checked he could do the work, called me back to keep me informed of the progress of the parts he had ordered, and I got the jobs done in a day.
When I took the car he was genuinely interested in the car and had even talked to the people at Vauxhall who organise the import of the cars so he could get some background on what to expect.
He told me he might have a problem if the engine needed diagnostics as he did not have the computer for this but as it is "a big V8" he didn’t think I would be getting many problems in that area.

Great job and I would not hesitate to recommend them to any monaro owner in the area.

I have used them for my HSVs and regassing aircon as literally 2 miles away from me. Good attitude and mechanics

What would be good was if they became Monaro certified.

Sounds like at least two people have had positive comments about them (unlike some other dealer). Nice that they managed to do the spring recall though.

cool - are they any good at getting parts in?

lookers in chester are rubbish at getting them in - everything on back order and need payment up front!

As long as they are not related to that shambles in Derby because if they are I wouldn't trust them with a toy car.

It took about 4 days to get the seat spring, door lock bits and what ever they needed for the 31K service. Ian (service manager) rang to let me know what was happening. (no money up front)

So far I an impressed, my Summer car is a 360 and I am use to the level of service that a local independent Ferrari dealer gives, so I was very surprised that a Vauxhall main dealer who normally look after Astra’s and the like showed any interest at all.
