The Monaro is awsome around the ring. Bennno and myself went in July and I went back again in September. Did 36 laps in total and had a real hoot. The car is easy to control on the limit, has lots of grunt up the hills and wont throw you off at the first corner. Also, most people havent got a clue what the car is.

I have a standard car with standard brakes and had no problems. Just let the thing cool down after one or two laps (max) and you will be fine.

Roger @ Monkfish warned me of potentual power steering overheating problems if you dont let things cool down. Problem can be solved by fitting a different cooler and is an easy job aparently.

Ben and I are planning a trip back over there in April (poss Easter weekend). You are welcome to join us. www.northloop.co.uk is also organising a convoy and no doupt the Ringers are also going to be there.
