Cracked windscreen :(
Discussion
Just arrived back home from spending the best part of the week out in Germany with work (Aachen and then a trip to the Essen Motorshow) to kick off my drive from Dublin back up to Derry with a stone whacking right beside the A pillar on the drivers side and leaving a 12-14 inch crack coming out into the middle of the window. Only positive is that it's on the glass and not the A pillar as no doubt would have left a nasty dent...
How easy is it to source replacement screens for these cars, i.e. do the likes of AutoWindscreens etc stock Monaro glass?

There was a recent thread on this....
I think the upshot was that the big glass companies did have windows in stock, but only at their main depots, so a few days wait while they deliver to your fitting depot was in order.

Slightly out of the norm cars screens are normally not held locally.
I even had a few days wait for my 98 Scorpio when the screen cracked.
Ain't no thang.
Dougie was up for the Dastek rolling road day and was heading off to the Falkirk Wheel to meet some Corsa owners. Someone had loaned him a fast red car (new Corsa
) to show off to some interested owner groups and get some feedback. As the VVOC people keep saying isnt a Cavalier just a MK1 Vectra
