TNT Magazine - Article for Australia Day Meet - Any takers
Discussion
TNT Magazine this year are wanting to run an article to go into the January 15th edition of the Magazine, and are wondering if any one is interested in going around with them to take photos within London, and watching peoples reactions, in a hope to get some photos.
Now, what I thought could happen is something with the vx Ute (stu?), and anyone else who wanted to go along and buzz london. From what I understood they were wanting to do it as soon as possible, and do a better article than last years. They have promised that they are going to this time, make sure all the facts are right before publishing.
Any takers? It could possibly be done on a weekend.
For those who don't know, TNT is a magazine mainly read by Australian's, Kiwi's and South African's. (i.e the ones with better cricket teams)..

sounds fun but the monaro hardly catches attention....
Depends if you how you drive it...
With my exhaust get alot of attention, probably for the wrong reasons, but got the school kids now on the run through to work sitting in the bus shelter racing out to hear it as I go by. A couple of them get a big grin when you give her a little rev.stigcv8 said:

I beg to differ.... and I have a completely standard car, so the attention I get is not down to noise. I agree that most people will not give it a second look. The < 10% of people who know what one is do are usually suprised, have a good look and I even saw a group of builders taking pictures of it in a car park. I bet if I owned a F430 that wouldnt happen.
I find that driving around London in the Monaro attracts more lookers than in my Chimaera, and again it's not down to noise. Only the other day 2 people asked me what it was and said what an awesome motor it is....
My concern would be attracting the wrong sort of attention from P.C.Plod, but I might be up for it - Maybe PM me to discuss further???
