No, not a hallucinogen...
How can I tell if my limited slip diff is working properly? On the wet roads we've had lately I seem to be getting wheelspin without the normal sideways action more often than not, as if one wheel only is spinning, especially when pulling out from side roads (so on a fairly tight radius). I thought an LSD was supposed to stop that happening? This is on an '04 CV8, original diff.

I had Greens sort mine out, redline oil then a little modifier. I had the same as you, wot no drift. Now as it gets warmer it works better and better. Dry or Wet will do, bring it round to me and I will check, no problem. Before I had the oil changed I would get one chance at it and then would just get one wheel spinning and absolutely nothing happening in a sideways fashion.
Think it was about £70 to £80 and worth every penny.

You need to speak to Greens or Paul @ Wortec and then let them sort it out. I originally thought that it had worn out as it has done 80k but now with the new oil it works great. Once it is done be careful as every break in traction will lead to a sideways moment. Engine is set to hard limit at 5800 so it doesn't let go. Once traction has completely gone it (well I can't and have been passenger in some hard core drift cars with people that have been drifting for a few years) is really difficult not to hit the limiter if the throttle is kept on. If you have had a tune then some tuners may raise the limit which will take you way into the redline. I had mine remapped, went to Italy for a month and had this happening so as soon as I got back I went back to tuner and got the limit lowered to 5800 (this also depends on when the power/torque has started to drop off) which is lower than standard. Also helps when driving hard as don't have to look at the dash at all and if i miss a change point I get told with a, bup bup bup bup.
