Newbie ** V8 racer ** here

Hi Everyone,

Just introdcuing myself, i just found your HSV/Monaro forum and was compelled to join up,
so here i am...

I luckily find myself in the racing seat of a V8 Holden and now i am too converted away from the ways of the japanese automakers, well almost....

Until i raced this car a few months ago i had never even driven one of these beasts so im a REAL newbie....but it is awsome.

Would love to come to your meeting at the Ace end of January, although i dont actually have my car in this country ill still try to come along......

well prepair yourselves for a shock im in fact female :-)...., im racing in the only Mid East Touring Car championship (currently 4th Ahem ) sponsored by Chevrolet Motor sport, racing HSV Clubsport-R or a CSV ( Chevrolet Special Vehicle) as they like to call it there, we launched the first race as a support to the V8 Supercars in Bahrain - Road version is called a Lumina SS for the Mid East market, but its a Holden all the same, Walkinshaw did an awsome job of getting it all trimmed up for the racing series out there losing another 200kgs - I know - im a very lucky lady !

My next race is in a week in Dubai supportng the 24Hrs racing, so wish me luck, hope this time they have fixed my gear box as i broke third last outings.

That's awesome, I race go-karts over here (only 16 so will be playing with the big boys when I get my race licence!), not quite in the same league but still, you have to start somewhere right Welcome aboard.
