Any comments, they seem cheap?

They look like the older HSV Premium brakes you could specify when ordering the car new. These just have a different badge on them. I had them premiums on the GTS before the AP upgrade and I thought they were good at the time but they still fade heavily when pushed to the edge. The AP setup is definitely the best thing I've done to the car to date. If they are a viable option for you, I'd go with them. If not then save up until they are. If you are going to shell out hard earned cash for new brakes then they are worth the expense and patience. Your whole driving experience is improved with the added confidence you'll have in stopping power.
Just my opinion and I'm sure some will disagree (This one usually causes a few differences of opinion).

From what I remember this was the order of quality when brakes were discussed in depth last time:

1 CV8 - Cr@p
2 VXR - Good but not great
3 HSV Premium pack - Marginally better than VXR
4 AP - The dogs danglies

Those look very similar (but with slightly larger disks) to the standard VXR ones, not worth changing IMO. VXR brakes = PBR.

I wonder how the APs compare to the new PBR brakes installed on the Corvette Z06.
