As the title suggests, we need a Vauxhall Monaro for a two-day magazine photoshoot at the beginning of Feb. We'd been trying to get hold of a VXR 500, but have run out of luck.

Ideally the car will be tuned to over 400bhp and its driver will fancy bags of free time on track (not airstrip).

Please email me if you're interested (or know someone else who might be).

Don't Vauxhall have a VXR 500 press car?

Not any more. Out of production, so off the fleet.

How are we supposed to drive quickly around a track with a naked bird draped over the bonnet? Aeroplanes use flaps to slow down don't they??

Or isn't it THAT kind of magazine?

Ah, the Escorts. Owned one of 'em for 17 years, and it's still not roadworthy.hehe

Sorry if the undisclosed magazine sounds a bit cloak and dagger, but it's top secret at the mo'. Hopefully, everyone will love it...

And no naked totty, I'm afraid. But you wouldn't want that anyway. Gets a bit boring staring at 'em for an entire day.

(Well, of course it doesn't, but my girlfriend could possibly read this.)
