right first post and its a problem with the monaro (gr8 start to owning1 )
after a bit of a play up to the speed limit of course i find that u can smell traces of clutch burning. so what the recomoendations for replacement clutches uprated of course.
and has anyone done one diy (wouldnt think so)im presuming there just as easy as any other rear wheel drive clutch ive changed but any advice greatly recieved.

Clutch slave cylinder inside the bellhousing is a nice challenge to bleed.
For a stouter upgrade to stock try the LS7 clutch with LS2 flywheel. Ive one on order myself. Can be had for around $600US.
Otherwise there are many options, I think some guys have the textralia which has good marks.

If you are running a std car, there shouldnt be any real issues with clutch unless its worn. How new is the car ? Mileage etc etc.

We do a very good upgrade that works very well over 600bhp. £999 fitted inc VAT

its had the branch manifolds, full stainless system and ecu remap at picador
running an unconfirmed 410bhp
and its done 60k
but i am starting to smell the occasional burning from clutch but aint noticed any slippage as yet

If you can hurt a regular Textralia OZ700, I'll be impressed !!

Ive yet to do it damage.

I'll try again soon though
