Hey guys.
As the title implies, i'd like to get one fitted to the beast. Any idea where, and how much this would cost?

Cheers

check with the guy selling the pontiac gto in germany in the classifieds above.
He took his off and was willing to give it away some time ago.

Ofcourse being LHD it will create upforce instead of downforce
Or will it make you stray onto the right hand side of the road ;(

And its black

Lend me your car and I'll go and pick it up for you.

I think fitted from Vauhall was around the £900.00 mark (don't quote me on that mind) as I had mine fitted at time of purchase but i'm sure it was around this mark

Have a check on the costs from Oz, I was quoted £1200 for a fronet valence in the UK and approx £350 in Oz, there was a recent thread on bonnets which mentioned a couple of links.

I was quoted around £1K for one - £800 for the spoiler & £200 for fitting & paint...couldn't justify that...and there are those around who think one would spoil the understated lines?!?!! Don't know really!

Thanks for the advice guys, it's looking around the thousand pound mark which seems a tad expensive to me! But i'll chase up the guy over in germany and see how much he wants the spoiler for. It'll be ideal seeing as mine's black anyway. (thanks for the suggestion phrich)

Looks better without, think of where that £1000 could be spent instead

I have a "damaged" spoiler off a year 2000 HSV-GTS which may be of interest. It could be easily professionaly fixed. Don't know if its the same as an O4 CV8. You can have it FOC if you want it.

well assuming it fits a cv8 if redbarron doesnt fancy it I'll give you a few quid for it and the carriage. Got a repair place nearby that could handle any work needing done to fix it. Fancied getting a spoiler for mine but didn't want to risk shipping it from Oz and no way I was paying a grand for a UK one - money could be much better spent elsewhere on the car.

Its not too badly damged, I fixed it up temporary and kept it on the car until the new one arrived (£350ish from LSV back in 02/03) i'll try and post some pictures of it early next week as I am away this weekend. Never posted pictures on here before so should be fun trying

We can do the rear spoiler for £319 inclusive of VAT. Painting and fitting if required would be extra.

This is going to sound really naff but...how come you can do one for that price when Vauxhall, in that case, REALLY rip us off? And that REALLY grips my scensoredt - money grabbing gits! furious

Is this the VXR style rear spoiler or another aftermarket one?

If VXR style I may be interested in one myself
