sits between the big rubbery pipe and the airbox, near the airbox. has a lead plugged into it and when you remove it it'll have a fine mesh inside it. Make sure you put it back in right way round, should be an arrow showing the flow of air through it to help.

cheers, I thought it was that and you are right it does show direction of flow. Still I'll give it a clean but seriously considering going mafless now just need to really find out what the pros/cons of it are. It isnt going to be done as a performance mod more a case of not wanting a dodgy afm screwing things up (as at present)
