What was it like?
Did it stress the chassis/brakes?

Never run the Holden on slicks but have on other vehicles. It will place a massive load on your drivetrain and automatically find any weakness that you may have and inicate them with failure

In a healthy serviced vehicle it is not a problem but it does take its toll.

"The light that burns twice as bright lasts half as long" My pit mech used to say.

plenty of blokes in the US of A are running drag radials which are effectively street legal slicks with no problems.

And there are plenty of them breaking axle stubs, halfshafts and diffs.......

And drag radials are grippy, not nowhere near as grippy as slicks...

put slicks on a standard car and then all the panels move,screens crack,lights lenses brake,and the body twists.

but its big fun....................
