Anyone fitted these to their Monaro? Found a supplier thats selling them at over 100 quid off the normal prices I've seen for them. Just wondered if anyone had tried them and had feedback on whether they were a good purchase or not.

Stock coils are fine. If you do it, do it for show.

Ditto, waste of money.

Standard coils are well proven to insane power levels.

And you will also find, that a lot of aftermarket tuners actually now use the LS1 coils as high performance replacements.

cheers. will save myself the 350 quid they were going to cost and invest it in something more useful - like fitting my VXR brakes.

yeah the camshaft is tempting me but thought I'd hold off until I see what Monkfish are going to offer with cam/heads package first

I've sold a few ls1 coils in the past for non lsx applications so they are popular. I think the ls7/ls2 variants are reputed to be even better. I wouldn't bother with aftermarket coils.
