Prices for the VXR

I have not been on the site for a while, but has anyone
spotted the price of the 6.0 litre VXR in the mags.

with only about 100 miles on the clock £26995.00

make a nearly 2 years old one with 16000 miles like mine
worthless

Certainly Vauxhall have shafted a lot of owners with the residuals but then I am not selling so am not too bothered.

Thing is a pre-reg VXR at £27k is good value that's why some of us have bought one instead of some another vehicle. I was in the market for a new car. I wanted reasonable space, good performance, and reasonable looks. I decided on a budget of about £35k but I didn't want a BM or a merc or a bloody Audi. I wanted rear wheel drive. I doubt I would have been prepared to pay £35 - £37k for a new Monaro. But £27k was a different matter.

What else could I have bought that would have given me the same all round package for £27k. I've done a lot of head scratching and still can't come up with any ideas.

What about you guys.

Or Chysler 300C 5.7 or 6.1
Ford Mustang 4.6L V8

Not interested in Euro stuff either.

I had an XKR which was nothing but trouble - as for the Mustang a colleague has one, I drove it 250 miles and thought it was nothing short of agricultural.
