North Wales Run 24th March
Discussion
some nice roads in north Wales and some decent tunnels as well along the coast. Spent a week in Llandudno(?) couple of years back while her indoors was at a union conference. Had plenty time to explore the roads in my V6 Vectra. Would have been fun to go down to this but not when I'm heading down to the BTCC event the following weekend. Maybe the next one.

north wales is nice, its ace but its road is governed by Heir Brunstrom of the SS Waffen roads division. Dont go to north wales and go over the speed limit, not unless you are a member of the 39th Deutsches Behälter korps
Have to agree there, but its quiet on the Peninsula compared Clywd area especially . Colwyn Bay is there headquarters so around there is worse .

It's all about being observant and most peeps around here in darkest North Wales do warn you of upcoming traps. It's the born-again bikers who tend to help swell police numbers at weekends.
There are plenty of good open roads to really let go complete with corners that would suitably test out AP set ups to the limit. There are roads to suit most tastes here.
Some nice runs through the Snowdonia park, Denbigh moors etc (EVO Triangle) and Monaro's really do turn heads here in this part of the world.
It really can be a fun place to drive - honest!

Hi Mate
Yep the run is venturing that way as well , I believe. Have to say a monaro would be my next choice after the TVR, and as the we have a 6 month old small person,so its probably not that far away. I am just waiting for the prices to drop some more. I have been out in one from Slaters , nice !.
I might be up for it. Nice to get out and about down the coast.
Seriously considering some new brakes & suspension so that 'run' might be ideal to run the mods in!
Just need to price it all up, talk to the suppliers on here and talk nicely to the missus - she wants a new kitchen, but I'm sure that can wait... priorities first.
