I see this description a lot - what does it mean?

What model have I got.... I have a 2006 6.0L Vauxhall Monaro VXR.

I know it is the same as a Pontiac GTO - but what is the VY and VZ bit?

Can someone translate for me please? It will make it easier for me to understand if bits I intend to buy are for my car or not....

Regards

Steve

...and actually, the Pontiac GTO is not a VXR, it is a CV8 with the LS2...as recently informed by a Pontiac Dealer
