Hi

Never posted on here before but have read with interest for many years.

I have a Commodore HSV serial no. 007! I have owned it for seven years from new and still have a thrill behind the wheel after all these years. I also own a R32 Skyline which I have had for seventeen years - Could be a record eh? I would find it hard to part with either - however yesterday at our local vehicle registrations office, I happened across a lime green Ford Falcon Boss just bought into the Island. Very Very impressive. This model had large breaks, vented discs, and the general finish inside and out was very good.
I wonder if the owner would fancy a Jersey Bathurst if we could find a big enough space.

Regards

Jersey Steve

That would be great to watch.

Are there speed limits on your tax free isle?

But a betting man might put his money and the Falcon over a 7 yr old HSV unless you have some tricks up your sleeve like a blower or a shortcut.

I have to be honest, since the demise of the VZ shaped HSV, I'd rather one of the Ford BA FPVs. Not as much power as the HSV but that is easily remedied with the help of Mr Whipple and I think they are a much prettier car, particularly the front end. Opinions?

Opinions? Well being 3 parts pished, mine may be worthless

Bought a BA XR6 for the (ex) Wif. Not a bad 'family" car.

Am Burrently searching for a VZ Clubsport R* for MY family car. Quite the different animal...

I'll take that bet..........I have a Falcon XR8 Boss 260. Not as quick as the HSV GTS.

Of course Jersey has a speed limit but there are some quiet drivers roads - you have to pick the time and place. My Commodore is standard bar exhaust, ecu and shifter. I first saw the Falcon at a roundabout and only had a fleeting glance and to be honest it looked Australian! Good looking in an unrefined sort of way. The badge and image people probably wouldn't like it. I like V8's and 3 pedals so it is right up my street.
