any one heard of this.my vxr has had three wheels damaged the garage went to a vauxhall dealer to supply the new ones.three arrived one in silver,the same as the ones on my car,two in a sort of metalic blue.also the one in silver was also poor quality paint finish.
spoke to the vauxhall parts dealer who said all the monaro wheels are outside manufactured by a company in aus, sadly in various shades and colours so they cannot guarantee to supply four the same shade as they all have the same part no but would have to open all the boxes to try to match up four so god help anyone outhere who needs a front wheel.

Sorry, I personnally have not heard about that problem. The colour issue sounds really weird though, blue wheels sounds really weird - you would think Holden buy in the wheel (made for them I guess) but very odd they would be a strange colour.
On a side note, welcome from a Rochdale Monaro VZ CV8 driver. Hope you love the car.

hows this for a bad luck story owned it for an hour before it was sideswiped in westhoughton by an unkind asian lady in a bmw who for some unknown reason desided she was in the usa and hit four cars mine included,the other three where write offs. she was driving on the wrong side.

I know it does sound twaddle but i have seen the blue metalic wheels,the part no on the box is
92179956, vauxhall only list one part no for the vxr wheels.
the same no was on the box with the silver wheel.
phoned vauxhall care line today to see if they can help.
anyone any other ideas?
