The new V8 Vauxhall - VXR8

It may be the arty photo angle but it looks stubby to me and rather too generic GM (which for me was the failing of the old one, albeit previous generation GM). It will fit better into the corporate face of Vauxhalls if you like that sort of corporate conformity. I do like the wing vents though but will wait for the Camaro, Challenger and Mustang to arrive and hopefully get a better loom at one of these in the meantime.
BTW, if that's not a VXR8, does that mean there is more than one VXR model???

Not bad all in all.
Though a strict conversion is around £26K from the Oz price.
The yanks get the best deal, Oz prices less 20%, we get Oz plus 20%, why? (Yeah I know they get the SS and we get the HSV, but they get the SS cheaper than Oz)
Still its price competitive in the market compared to the other large RWD V8 boys.
If they ever do a "special" VXR price in the mid £2x,xxx range I might even be tempted.
In any case a nice addition to the Holden stable on these fair shores. The more the merrier.

It is just the angle as the car is infact larger in every dimension than the last Clubsport R8........The VXR8 is the only UK model. (the nice pic is of a GTS in OZ but it is as close poss to the outside of the VXR8)
Ringram your conversion has left a few things out like import duties and VAT. Based on a Clubsport R8 with leather.
Price in Aus converted to UK pounds - 10% Aus GST_____: £23684
Import Duty 25%__________________________________: £29365
Add vat__________________________________________: £34786
At around £35k its a bargin, and this does not include shipping to the UK.
I would challenge you to land one for significantly less treating it as a business import not personal!
