My new Monaro is the first car I have had with an accurate speedo. According to my road angel (which I think is about right) it’s almost spot on. This compares very well to any other cars I have tried out the comparison on. My M5 for example showed over 10% fast at any sort of speed. It does mean that in 'camera' areas, when it says 50 I stick to 50 etc. What’s your experience?

smiler.

anyone else find that the bloody digital reads a few mph, quite a few, less than the analogue? Mind I am going to get the dials replaced as I;ve had the sticky speedo/rev counter so it could be that...

yep. The monaro is the only car I've owned where the speedo is correct!

Calibrated mine over 1km against the 100m markers on the motorway with the cruise set at a certain speed... calculated figure from timing showed the speedo to be over-reading by 0.045%. How very inaccurate!

ETA: That's when it's not reading 200mph while I'm stationary of course...

Mine is pretty accurate compared to GPS, even at really high speeds (on a private road).

Stack was always my first choice for Motorsport, simply the best IMHO. Out of interest my 4 door HSVs both have very inaccurate speedos compared to Stack readouts
