Yeah I think top gear had a blue one at one point. I remember seeing the segment on it.
Do a search on google it should crop up.

I know Top Gear reviewed the VT 1 as I have that on DVD. From that I would suggest it wasn't them for the VT 2. I remember Vicki Butler-Henderson driving and HSV at some stage. I am not sure if she was working on 5th gear then or not. Might be a good place start though. Hope that is of some help.

that reminds me.. when the chev powered VT's were launched circa 2001/2002 (VT2) there was a good comparo done running a GTS (UK GTS-R)vs the M5 & E55 AMG at the Ring. Can't find the link now but I've seen a web based copy somwhere

Excellent docs Paul thanks. Some look familiar from the old days.
Everyone will note the GTS-R price of £49995!!!
So with 7 extra KW these days and a technically superior car the VXR Clubsport really does look fairly priced.

Mind you on the other side Im sure the BMW and Merc, have raised their power game by a hell of a lot more than 7KW!

Lets see if HSV bring out their LS7 sedan.. Tiler
