Hello all,

My car is on a bit of a squeakfest as the weather warms up it would appear. Squeaky noises from engine when cold in another recent thread were traced to a worn something or other the precise name of which escapes me now, so that'll be fixed shortly when the car goes in for a spring checkup anyway.

However, now several of the doors have joined in. There's an obvious place to grease the hinges, but what to use? I take it WD40 is a no-no?

Car is a HSV GTS, so for the Monaro boys with nice shiny new cars, taking it to the deals is not an option

General purpose lithium grease is what you want. It comes in tubs and smells a bit funny.

Marvellous. I suppose Halfrauds is easiest place to get that sort of thing?

They should do, any motor factor will have some.
