I had my first experience of a Monaro about 2 weeks ago 1 day after passing my driving test it was AMAZING then I got back into my AX then I found out exactly how slow my car is! lol.
The Monaro is BRILLIANT.

You’re preaching to the converted here Aaron. But its in your blood now, all you need is a few years of NCD and your dream can come true.......You know you want one

Yeh being young sucks when it comes to cars mad. I remember turning 25 and dumping the 1.1 Escort for a nice shiny Lancia Beta 2000ES. (that's given my age away)!

Your time will come.

i think by the time he is old enough, cars will be banned

I drove Dan's (lad at LSV) Golf GTI this week - took it over the 200,000 mile mark too! It still drove really nice and felt very poky. It wasnt until I got in the ro I notied 2 things

1.) Just how much power the car does have! I do have a smart car but that is so light and nippy you don't feel the difference (well you drive it totally different!)

2.) The clutch in the Ro - HOW heavy! I was used to the Discovery before and not driven any other clutched car (other than the heavy clutch 350z) for 2 or 3 years. Bloody hell that clutch has some weight and I didnt even notie!

About the time you can easily afford any car you want two things happen.
1: Things start droppin off, or growing hair.
2: Ya dont want em so much.
Don`t get me wrong I love my monaro, but i`d prefer to spend my time in some leggy 18 year old blonde.
But now its almost illegal!!!!!.
