I haven't got one myself (although it is on the list) but others say it transforms the car and is an essential mod along with the remap. It makes the shift much shorter, tighter and more mechanical feeling and less like stirring syrup.
I think I've got a good standard shift as I don't have any of the issues other people seem to but it's definitely next on my list.
Then I might go for a 150-shot wizards of NOS install just to be a bit different.
Monkfish dudes: How much is that likely to cost fully fitted?

There are 2 types, street and race. The stock shifter has a rubber insulated shaft and a messy linkage system.
The Rip is a direct connection to the gearbox internal selection mechanism.
The street version uses your stock shifter less all the linkage rubbish. The race is a solid steel bar which has zero play rather than the slight cusioned feeling of the stock/street setup.
You can also get a B&M Ripper which has shorter throws, but earlier versions were a little weak in the mounting department. I understand thats fixed now. The good thing is that the B&M is about half the price of the RIP.
Consider the Oz Rip shifter the top of the line solid option and the B&M a shorter throw cheaper option.
