Sean. yes, I've felt a slight movement under (ahem!) heavy breaking. I mentioned it when the car went in for a service a few weeks ago; the seat mechanism was looked at and greased, but no problem found.

I had a quick look through the TSBs on the LS1GTO forum but couldn't find any mention of a known problem.

If you get anywhere with solving this one I'd be interested in hearing about it.

Cheers,

Neil

Yes, me too. But I try to avoid heavy braking so it doesn't bother me much. Don't feel like risking a 1 million mile round trip to a Monaro "specialist" incase it comes back rattling or something.

What he said - only happened the once having put the seat back in my driving position after a trip to the garage. Moving it back and forward cured the problem - I am normally the only one to drive it but have recently had a service and no problems this time. Most un-nerving feeling though!
