Novice question - bonnet vents

I know the 6.0 Monaro has the vents in the bonnet. I didnt think that the 5.7 had any vents, but I'm pretty sure I've seen a 5.7 on AutoTrader - with vents.

Whats the score please?

There are a good number of 04's with them on too. If you like them, they would be the pick due to increased boot space over the 05 model.
