Touch up paint K025
Discussion
So - where do I get some touch-up paint for K025 black (2001 HSV GTS-R) ?
Tried to order it from a local Vauxhall dealer but he was hell bent on not helping me right from the word go, and I refused to accept that I needed to provide the flipping chassis number when I know the paint code. What's the point of having a paint code if you need to provide the chassis number?????
Just have a few stone chips to treat.

Go to a reputable body repair garage. My CV8 is having some work done locally. I gave them Holden paint code and they confirmed it as Devil Yellow after cross checking on an online database. They said it should be no problem mixing some up to match. I trust they know what they're doing as I saw a DB9 just rolling out of the bodyshop looking gorgeous.
My local Vauxhall dealership bodyshop were hopeless. They guessed it and it came out dark orange not Devil Yellow and they thought that was acceptable!

Being black I used a Halfords touch up pen (just black) which works fine for small areas, the paint code is on a plate in the engine bay, halfords might be able to make a spray can on site for a tenner if its a large one and the staff are helpful.

My local Vauxhall bodyshop were hopeless too. First the estimator couldn't spot what needed doing and then on the quote had my car down as a Calibra and the colour as flame red! They did however have some proper Holden touch-up pots in stock in the correct colour but then couldn't find the rear foglight (don't ask!) on the system. Doesn't fill you with confidence!
Just a thought, Some car manufacturers have the paint code and then within that code various shades. Subaru for instance just have the one master colour, Ford, Renault and some others have No1 which is the original followed by No2-3-4-5 etc, the vin code will tell which exactly.
It does not excuse the poor customer service attitude though !!

I have had three experiences with paint (spray rather than touch up).
Independent did a good job initially on the bumber but could always tell the difference and started going orange (so bad at the Ace people were pointing it out
).
Platinum Vauxhall in Frome did the rear passeneger side - nice job.
Picadors have re done the bumber and is vastly improved.
I think it depends on the profesionalism of the garage/repairer.
