Test drove a monaro Wow! so where is it? Aaaaaargh!

You may remember me from such posts as Test drove a monaro Wow!
(22nd March 2007).

Now every day this week except for this Monday 2nd April 2007 I've been promised delivery of my precious only to be deprived with comments of "its been recalled due to a failure in side impact bags and the part will be replaced pronto."

Ive looked around and that was a year ago wtf. (March 2006)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My car is registered Jan 2007 so what gives???????

Now to be fair, after much argument, the dealer has arranged a courtesy car for tomorrow till my car is sorted. However after leaving a deposit you'd think the argument factor might be left out of things especially when I have a pregnant lady in tow and a child on the other side of sheffield to cater for.

And thats all I have to say about that!!!!!!!

The airbag recall is a twenty minute fix. If the car has a paper sticker with the showing the vin number stuck to the plastic cover over the radiator, then the upgrade has been done prior to delivery.

Had a shout at the dealer as the monaro's not being delivered till wednesday. So they've only gone and provided an Astra diesel sri in the meantime. Slightly embarassing on the drive but I suppose the feeling when I get into the monaro will be fantastic after driving a diesel for the next few days.
