Just a quickie, looking at the rear end of some VXR's they have the insinia VXR over the Monaro, But my one dosen't have this, is this right, or did the 07 ones never had it?

I just got my monaro a week or so ago and I was surprised too it had no external vxr badging apart from the brake calipers which most people wont ever see unless it is parked up. inside the VXR logo on the seats is nice but some contrast with the stitching would have been nicer. Not having seen one on the road ever I didn't know if they were meant to have anything. surprising really if it was meant to be a flagship of the whole VXR range.

My VXR had VXR badging but no V8 badging (like the Aus cars). Odd, but I know a few things got forgotten here and there.

You should have a V8 badge below the side repeater on either model I think, and on VXR a seperate VXR chrome badge on the back as well as calipers.

have the v8 badge which is most important but no vxr badge. would they have been pinched or just not installed at the dealer? to be honest I would rather a HSV badge as to me it has more heritage behind it.

The badging was all fitted at the factory, may have had the boot painted and the badge was overlooked to be replaced or reapplied.

Yep, got the VXR on the brakes, got it on the seats, got the V8 on both sides, but, no insignia on the boot ???? Pleased I am not alone here, otherwise your last comment about being respayed would have been taken seriously ! So who has my badge? come on, own up.

yep I think you were right, i am sure i saw a couple of Nova's round the back of the dealers with them on
