Apparently the same as CAPA use. They have a "wildcat" tag on them.

Anyone know if they would fit on to a Wortec Catback system?

Cat pipes finish at the standard location and are 2.5" which I think is the same.
Roger fitted the replacement headers to mine which I think were fitted to a wortec previously, so they should match ok. Maybe give him a bell.

here is a silly but obvious question for you ringram....

if you have a maf (still not got rid yet!) and thus 02 sensors, can you use cat bypass pipes?

Ive no MAF, but have O2 sensors. You can use O2 with or without cats and with or without a MAF. I actually dont use the O2's however. They are disabled in the tune.

I hope that is confusing enough

maf is for airflow and o2's help to keep fueling to 14.7:1 by telling the PCM when you are over or above that level.

If you dont have O2's either working or installed then you need your tune to be good enough not to require them. (ie) So that all the other parameters are accurate enough that fueling is close enough to 14.7:1 that there is no need for O2 sensors.

No factory tunes come without O2's. However the GTS came without a MAF and 400bhp.

Though I do kind of have an O2 I use a wideband O2 frequently to check my tune is up to date after each mod is done.

thanks

My tune is good for a level of about 13.7 over the range, if I were to use cat bypass pipes what would I have to do with the o2 sensors???

sorry for more obvious questions..

o2's are located precat normally. Any post cat ones are there to check on cat performance rather than to control fuel.
With no cats, you might need to mess with any rear ones you have. Most US guys just disable them.

I think mine are still pre-cat sp I presume you can just get bypass pipes with holes located for the sensors?
