Still having trouble putting a full tank of gas in the `ro` sometimes, which is more annoying than anything else.I know this has already been posted but I don`t remember anyone(incl Vauxhall) coming up with a solution that didn`t involve driving off and filling again etc. Is there a fix? (cos there is obviously a prob)

On a good day no prob but sometimes no chance of a full tank, with all the knowledge on this forum was hoping someone may have a tech answer. Are aussie pumps a different spec or something?

didn't we reach conclusion in a previous discussion of this that its only the ones with the tanks in the boot that its a problem? certainly never had any issues with filling my 04 model with the tank under the car.

My tanks in the boot and I've not had the problem yet (3,500 miles so about 12 fills I suppose).

Something I've found interesting is that this used to happen a lot to me when I first acquired the car, but in the last while (touch wood) it's stopped happening...maybe something silly causing the float to stick when the car isn't used much (just throwing a beanbag at the fire here)

It always happens to me at pump 4 at my local petrol station, but never at pump 2?
Speed of flow perhaps? confused
