March Evo Mag - Did anyone read article in VXR 500

Did anyone get a copy on the March 2007 Evo Mag (one with New BMW M3 on cover)?

Apparently there was an article on the VXR500 where they took it onto the Autobahn to see what it would do, did anyone read this?

If so, would you care to share the story, what was the verdict?

There was a thread on this some time ago. Basically they tested it in the wet in Germany but said it struggled to get above 160/170

Honestly, you would have thought they'd check the weather forecast first to make it worth their while wouldn't you - perhaps they aren't such a polished outfit after all.

Yeah I was really suprised they only achieved in the high 160's, I got 160 gps, on my stock 04VXR at Bruntingthorpe, so I would expect high 170's from a VXR500.
