Can anyone tell me whether the RPM should glow green the same as the MPH on the speedo?

I think it's lit to show its reading MPH not KPH or vice versa. RPM is RPM is it not?!? Just an observation here - Has anyone (on a private road or Autobahn obviously) gone over 125mph and then changed the MPH to KPH? By my reckoning the needle would go off the dial. So for all the KPH'ers out there how do they know how fast they are going?

Not sure what a UK edition Monaro/VXR shows, but my HSV's speedo maxes @ 265KPH (165MPH)

Pretty sure I've read a thread or two that this is the same for the UK Monaro

I think you`re asking about the needle, well just guessing but I would think it stops somewhere south of 200kph, the digital speedo, accessed through the dash modes continues to read up to about 265kphish (see evo roadtest on a VXR500 for a fuller understanding.)

Not sure i`d want to hit the button at speed though.

My needle shows all the way up to around the 180mph marker, and another point to note is even with the overspeed warning turned off the digi speed display on mine showed overspeed at 160kph and above for approx 10 seconds or so before re-displaying again up to 265kph...
