As per the title really. Had two new rear tyres fitted on the 'ro. (Avon zz3's) and once i'd paid and started to drive away from the garage. An error reading on the dash read - ABS failure T/C off which was followed by a few warning beeps. Tried hitting the T/C button to turn it on but to no avail.
After pulling over and switching the ignition off and then back on again, everything seemed fine. No warnings or beeps.

Anyone else suffered anything similar and should i go and get it looked at?

You get this after being on a dyno but can't remember what causes it but it is not a problem (I think). Someone technically minded will let you know I'm sure.

Sounds like an error was (falsely) detected in the wheel-speed sensor system.

If one or two wheels only are moving at excessive speed while the other two are nil reading, then the ABS ECU may flag a fault code.

Are the rears the same size as the fronts?? If the rolling radius of the rears is not the same as the fronts then the ABS shuts down.
