Monaro VXR Foglight Glass

Does anyone know if the CV8 fog light glass is the same as the Monaro VXR?

Yes, they are both made out of melted sand and some other stuff

Can you just change the glass? are they not sealed units?

There was a post on here a while ago where someone fitted new fogs off E-bay for about £16 each? They just had to modify how they fitted but seemed to work a treat.
