Ok so my ro 6.0 vxr keeps dumping water after I've switched the engine of, seems like it's boiling over and coming out under the overflow tank. Haven't heard my fans either, any ideas people. Thanks

Also when I checked the overflow from cold it was empty and when I took off the main rad cap the level was about 5 inches from the top so topped up the overflow and now it's dumping again, could this be too much water in the system. It has just had its 50 k big service

Tried that and same result mate. The temp quage in car seems normal it's never gone over half way. Need to speak to monkfish as not sure if the 50k service has anything to do with coolant replacement/level

FWIW I've never been advised to top up the overflow only ever the main rad and add fluid SLOWLY otherwise you'll only make matters worse.

i had this problem on a prelude i used to own after a radiator change.....the stealers didnt get rid of all the air in the system so it used to blow most of the coolant out everytime i topped it up.
