Why don't we bother with subframe connectors over here?

I know compared to 80s/90s Americana these cars are comparatively stiff, but presumably the chassis would still benefit from the stiffening?

Seems BMR make some?

Just curious really, they're more common in the good ol' US of A as they're used to having to fix their floppy old chassis and that making a world of difference to the car...

Cars dont seem to rust as much over there....

imagine inviting even more rust in by cutting bits of the car and welding more steel underneath it !

In this country of all places surely we could overcome that issue with some undersealing and so on?

OEM's cant even seal cars properly and they do them from scratch, inside and out.

When you start welding bits, you can usually get the external parts sealed up, but there are usually areas you simply cant get access too. They will rust.

Bars like that do go back to what they would have done to older vehicles though. I'm sure they may make some difference...but really cant see it being worth the effort.
