Was not working today to take my son to a doctors appointment. Ended up with my first free afternoon in months so decided to clean my 5.7 VXR Monaro for the first time since I bought it 6 months ago. Don't worry it's been getting cleaned just not by me. So thought I would give the car a proper clean and clear of all the remains of a winter's use.

The following products where used

All door shuts bonnet and boot creases with a bit of degreaser or multi surface cleaner. ( meguires commercial range)

Snow foam of body

Bilbury wheel clean both outside and inner wheels

Engine bay degrease and careful jetting and application of auto glym tyre shine which I find works well for engine plastic and rubber parts.

2 buckets clean using wookie wash mit and super natural shampoo by a Dodo Juice

I did not have time to clay, but used Dodojuice lime prime paint preparer

Dodo juice supernatural wax to finish

Tyres finished Matt finish with the auto glum tyre dressing and windows polished with meguires glass cleaner.

Quick Hoover inside and a wipe down of the interior plastics.

Total time 4 hours. A half job, as with more time I would have liked to clay and machine polish

Looking good...something I need to do too, neither cars been washed or driven since November and just sitting outside looking sorry. I can see them taking a full day each to bring up to some standard again frown
