Ok so that's a no then.What are the auto boxes like on these ? Anybody have one ?

Don't know about older Holdens but it's a GM automatic so it should be pretty good!

It’s probably a 4L60E overdrive as used in most US GM performance cars. From what I’ve read they are pretty good.
Personally I’d rather have that gearbox as opposed to some hyper expensive 10 or even 12 speed modern gearbox.
In any case there must be an endless amount of spare parts for them if needed.
