just checked the thread....

old car + massively tuned engine + high grip modern tyres + clutch dump start = bang

makes me chuckle, bit like the story in Evo some time back. Tester was recounting how he got the nickname 'Obi Wan Kanobi' after he wound up a 930 Turbo, dumped the clutch and simultaneously smashed both rear driveshafts through the rear arches.

Seems strange it twisted and didnt actually break....maybe lucky it didnt break !!!
