gear selection problems
Discussion
Got a problem selecting gears , so tapping the PH collective.
1st and reverse are much harder to engage at a standstill, and unless the it's at sync speed, gears feel a lot more clunky to change to.
My numpty mechanical knowledge is coming up with 3 options. Gearbox oil change/ topup, master or slave clutch cylinder, or clutch on the verve of needing a change.
There's no burning smell, and the clutch pedal feels normal. I had a slave go, and it doesn't feel like that. Opinions please?

could be all the things you mention...doubt its oil related as it would probably affect all gears? Fingers...or actual worn plates...only one way to find out. Could be the slave worn and / or leaking...you checked the level? Whats the milage on the car and clutch?
Fluid level looks fine, so probably looking at clutch components you mentioned. Car and clutch at 37k.Forums | Tamora, T350 & Sagaris | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
