Sagaris slats - the Raceproved way.
Discussion
As the car is nearly back with me, I can start to reveal its secrets...
I know a few people are interested in what and how the slats are done, so hopefully I can show you.
Front slats during work. What the photo doesn't show are the arrow straight lines that Brendan has put in - everything is trimmed and beautifully presented.

The work under the car is equally impressive. This shows the boxing before the final mesh in the arch. You may notice you only see two of the four slats... That's because the front two are being used to draw hot air from the radiator.

The rear slats, pre paint. What the picture doesn't show is the amazing curve Brendan has got on the mesh - it's a stunning bit of workmanship.

The rear slats arch - once again, not all the slats vent to the arch.

Why is that? Because there is a special piece of ducting from the rear vent, to exit above the lights - a poor picture of an amazing detail here.

Final meshing of the arches.

So now it's time for paint...

There will be a full thread about the build, including the one piece carbon bonnet, the rear light modifications and the colour (eek!) in a few days.
Oh, OK - one teaser.

(I know people can reverse engineer the Photobucket stuff - I don't mind you having an advance look, but can you save the full reveal for me please? Thank you!)

Specflair copper but with no light on it - doms does look darker

That's interesting - the colour of mine looks like a lighter grey (think the lighter part of a nornal carbon weave) than the copper 'in the flesh' - deliberately as I ready didn't want a colour change (until I had to, then I thought sod it!).
This really will be interesting to see it.

big congrats don, going to look amazing, colour choice is perfect. was there a typhon/440 in this colour? though it may of being spectraflair grey. if your going to alter it, this is how to do it!
I suspect you may be thinking of the second roa registered prototype T400/440 (like the first one it changed between motor shows). This is the one that Brundle used in the super car video and ran the two seat option for the extended range tank (by formal production they had worked out how to have the larger tank and also the rear seats).
The colour was a unique colour that was called Fleetwood or Fleetwood Bronze.
