Good morning!
I have noticed some fuel smell inside my car (Sagaris) today!!!
I can see some fuel "tracks" (mixed with oil or something else) on the right side of the fuel tank and a bit on the endcan.
The car drives normally and the fuel consumption seems also to be normal.

Any ideas?

1. Flex hoses perished?

Originals not heat resistant.

2. Fuel pump gasket leaking.

3. Pump fixing loosened

Whatever it is don't delay in rectifying.

Hi Graham!
Can I check those things only by lifting the car or do I have to dismount something (I'm not a mechanic!)?

Really need to remove the entire diffuser (3x m10 capscrews on rear edge, m8 bolt on front & 2x m5 on each side

At least remove rear wheel and check it out.

Put my money on it being the flexy hose from tank to put had this on mine, lift up rear carpet in boot area, on the right hand side they'll be a Fiberglass panel screwed on, take this panel off and that give you direct access to the flexy fuel line 5 min job to change them

Just about to have a look at replacing mine as I noticed some streaks down the fuel tank when cleaning... Do you guys use braided fuel hoses or any particular brand ?
