Should I sell the sag?

If I really honest I feel I have lost a bit of love for the car, it's great to look at and all but I feel I can't really drive it properly and they are hardly cheap to keep for odd run out. I don't really want to track it as worried about the wear and tear.
Would I better in getting a track car to enjoy driving ( super 7 etc) and sell the sag on to somebody else?
Maybe it's just a phase? Maybe it's still a bit of an investment? Maybe I'm going mad?

red up drain covers, cops with sense of humour bypasses, and the general lack of safe opportunities to really 'use' the car and get the most out of her. I was seriously thinking of selling and buying a TC car in order to get my kicks on the track. I even had a sale agreed through a TVR dealer acting as a 3rd party intermediary, but then my agreed acquisition of a TC car was reneged by the seller. Shortly after that, I had a perfectly good offer from some very nice chaps from Japan. I rejected the offer, and not because I was holding out for more money. Then I asked myself, what figure (£££) would it take for me to make a firm decision to sell. The only answer I could come up with was.... "there isn't one", and with this epiphany I realised that, in truth, I just did not want to sell her, or more importantly.... I couldn't bear to let her go. Learned behaviour I guess, as I recollected how totally sick in the stomach I felt when my old Tuscan went down the road with its new owner. It's OK to occasionally feel the way you do, as long as whatever decision you make is the right one, for the right reasons, at the right time.

Price's are good at the min so there is no harm in selling but I think the price will not lower much in the next few years so its not like you should feel you should get rid now incase they fall. Regaurding TVR's on track they seem to handle it very well as they were built to handle track days and the cost's dont seem massively high compared to other cars though I understand a little 7 is one of the cheapest to run. I would defo take it to a track before selling because having been in one driven very well they are fantastic and can keep up with some very well sorted cars. Only you will know if its time for a change but if I was you I would pop along to a trackday and let some of the tvr guys take you out if you didnt want to take your p&j on track first. I know one coming up soon.

I just ensure it has had a very good, full 12k + tappets service and health check before I do a few TDs, no fancy tyres or brake pads or anything - they hold up very well on a TD for a novice like myself - you don't need to spend money to do the TD and you won't wear things out as a novice and I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
Get yourself booked on a ferry/the tunnel for end of next week, then go to the Le Mans forum official sale/swap thread and find a camping ticket for sale. Take the Sag to Le Mans, go 'off piste' rather than the main routes down so as to avoid Le BiB, and you will fall in love with it again. Job done. HTH
