Don just popped into my place on his way home from picking the car up.

He should be as chuffed as he looks, it really is fantastic work. Sorry but the sun did not really come out for good photos but these iPhone ones will do for now.

Great to see you Don and great to take you out for a spin.

Apart from stunning cars, I seem to recall that the Dodge Viper had its pipes facing sideway and didnt meet UK rules? Guess the rules have changed, or did I imagine it?

Excellent work!

Hopefully, this mean my "new" Sagaris thread will not be too far off as RP will be able to focus now on finishing mine hehe

Back, tidied the interior (dust will come out for a while!), a dog walk and on to here.

Paul, an utter pleasure to meet you, thank you for the trip/ride/rocket launch you treated me to. Your car really does re-define 'fast'.

Pics to come in the thread itself, but the colour described on the tin is 'Spectraflair black' and is code SF6.

Oh yes, and chuffed doesn't even come close! biggrin

Total pleasure to meet you as well. Yep some individuals wonder why I swapped the engine, others ask - "is it really that much quicker" I think you now know the answers.

Anyway.... this is your cars thread smile

To be honest, there were two cars I wanted to target with my build, to make it one of the best in the world. Yours and Grahams.

I believe I have a nice middle ground - but the total ferocity of your car.... Mind blowing. Damn you Sir! Damn you and your corrupting ways! biggrin

The main thread is here: Raceproved

Now I just need to get it through rush-hour M25 traffic, in the pissing rain and back, before I start to clean it! At least I was able to dust and hoover it a bit when I got back.

So after experiencing LS power are you tempted???
It was a ride in Pauls at Oulton that inspired my re-build and emptied my bank account in the process, don't regret a thing though!
Enjoy the perfection as it does not last to long; four weeks in and a few stone chips and some over eager spectator interest at the Growl and i have a few more marks to stress over!
They look great together wink
