You are lucky this topic has not been pulled the powers that be have a very random way of policing these forums. Sorry to be a misery but its a joke how some topics are left and others are deleted straight away on this subject the mods seem to have rules for one and rules for others on here!....Rant over

I've found the mods more likely to get involved when people make note of the fact they have not!!

In answer to your question, whilst the OP has stated in the title that his car is for sale he's not put up a link (another member has) he's mentioned no detail, he's not posted a picture(s), he hasn't mentioned a price or asked Does my ad look OK.

He's just a member who's selling a car that he doesn't really want to let go.
in fact just in case you haven't read the rule of posting no.8, I'll C&P it here for you.
the rule states you shall not
"Post links to websites or adverts for commercial or personal gain. All advertising on PistonHeads must be through the normal channels.
The OP in this case appears IMHO not to have breached that rule.
BTW if you have a problem with the moderation on any of the forums on PH there are channels listed in the T&C's that allow you address your concerns.
From a personal POV I would get some mileage under your belt before ranting off about inconsistent moderation.
HTH.

[quote=robsco]Sorry to hear this, its certainly the only Sagaris I see in these parts (spotted you a couple of times while out in the Cerb). Don't do it, you'll regret it...

Im going to see how it goes interest wise and go from there. I could always buy another but its still not the same. Your really the only other person in a tvr i see apart from the odd t350.

You need to check your history on topics such as this that have been pulled without members giving links or prices before you start telling me what to do! I know for a fact but cant link to them as they have been deleted! Very easy to start a topic "I am selling my car" and then a pal posts a link not saying thats what has happened here and I am not having a go at the OP by any means just the MODS who are so inconsistent and even though I have only just joined I have been reading this site for many years as my father was a member on here when it 1st started many years ago.

Yes V8GRF totally agree but its hard to stand back and say nothing when you have seen 1st hand topics like this removed and then being told to "get some mileage under your belt". I am expecting a ban or whatever but in fairness if everyone adhered to the rules as pointed out by big AL anyone selling a car on here or anywhere for that matter can post a "I am selling my car" thread saying with deep regret etc etc and 2 posts later the link to the ad is posted by someone else. Is that truly a case of being allowed? If so I have seen several cases of likewise topics deleted that is why I questioned/complained about this but I honestly have nothing against the OP or his methods and I am sorry for side tracking it.
My dad is selling his restored Jaguar Mark 2 on here and loves it to bits but needs to sell would it be no problem to post in the Jaguar section "my dad is selling his lovely Mark 2"?....then "someone" posts a link to it and "someone" else posts how great it is where do you stop with this?
On saying that more people will now read this topic so in a roundabout way the OP is getting more "hits" with his advert than if I hadn't, not that he needs much help selling a Sagaris anyone with the slightest knowledge of TVRs will know that this car will be worth a lot more sooner or later the buyer will not lose a penny even at the price it is now if held onto!
