Hi,

Does anyone know of any insurers that offer 'modern classic' insurance for a Tamora? The car would do a limited milage of 3k. I understand that they don't consider NCB (needed for other vehicle)?

Cheers

You could give Classicline a call. I think my T350 was originally insured with them under a non bonus rated modern classic policy.

Thanks for the info. Much appreciated.
I currently pay £625 for my type r civic. 26, 2 years ncb, no points, decent postcode, garages. What would you expect quotes to he based on classic or non classic policies?

Another vote for manning, were very helpfull with mine. Also footman james who do modern classics on tvrs. Few points to take note of;

- Although they are referred to as a modern classic I think there is still some kind of age limit, iirc 10yrs old.
- Policies weren't very tolerant of points or claims. Wife has 3 points and a claim and nearly doubled premium.
- Think the usual classic stipulations apply of low milage and car being kept off street/garaged.
