engine already warm, drove for half an hour then filled tank. engine will start and ok if revved at 2000rpm. when take foot off throttle it won't idle and dies straight away. does this suggest low battery? any ideas? thanks, allan

If you scroll through the dash menus one of them shows battery voltage should be 13 plus and will start to give problems at 11 and below before finally stopping. If that is the problem then it is usually the main 100Amp fuse underneath the airbox.

Could be but if the fuse is blown and the battery is low enough to effect engine running no doubt it wouldn't start.

Sound like an air leak, have these got an airflow meter as it sounds like air is getting between that & the inlet manifold.

not sure it has an airflow meter.. i don't think so. battery is charging now just to eliminate that from the potential causes..

Don't think there's any MAF, just an air box on top of individual throttle bodies.

In that case I guess you have a map sensor, has it become disconnected or lost its vac hose etc.
